Saturday, June 13, 2026 at Capilano University!

On behalf of the Parent Prom Committee, we would like to share that plans are now full steam ahead for our Masquerade-themed Prom event, being held this year at Capilano University (Squamish campus) on Saturday, June 13, 2026. Mark your calendars! We have the biggest grad group ever at HSS and are expecting close to 350 tickets to be sold!

Prom Tickets And Forms Are Now Live!

Payment will be accepted via SchoolCash Online or E-transfer to [email protected].

Ticket Prices:

$100 – HSS Grads (minus $50 deposit if already paid)
$200 – Guests
$175 – CMA Student

Prom Bag Check-In: Wed, June 10, at Brennan Park Arena following the Commencement rehearsal.

Immediately following the rehearsal is the Prom bag check-in. All items that grads want to have at Prom must be brought in a bag to Brennan Park Rec Centre to be stored securely until the event. This includes any required medication (in original container), gum, make-up, spare shoes etc. The only items grads will be able to bring on the bus to the event will be their phone.

Time to Shine event: Sat, June 13, at Howe Sound Secondary (4:00-5:30 pm). This event is an opportunity for grads and families to celebrate together. This event is run by grade 10 and 11 parent volunteers and gives our grads and families a chance to relax and connect before grads head off to the big Prom event.

Prom: Sat, June 13, at Cap U Squamish (depart from HSS starting at approx. 5:30 pm). Fees must be paid, and forms must be completed in full and returned to the office by April 17 – no exceptions!

Following the Time to Shine event, all grads and guests will depart from HSS and be transported by bus to the Prom venue. Drop-off at the venue is not permitted. Pre-authorized parent/guardian pick-up at the venue is from 11:15 pm -11:45 pm. The Prom event is organized by our Prom Parent Committee.
